As part of UNRWA’s Gaza Emergency Relief operations, Folksafi managed the supply, storage, and delivery of 25,000 metric tons of fortified wheat flour to Palestinian refugees across the Gaza Strip. The project aimed to enhance food security and ensure consistent access to essential staples for vulnerable households during the 2024 humanitarian crisis.

Under the Gaza Emergency 2024 Program, Folksafi partnered with the United Nations Relief and Works Agency for Palestine Refugees in the Near East (UNRWA) to execute a critical food assistance project focused on the supply and delivery of 25,000 metric tons of fortified wheat flour to refugee families throughout the Gaza Strip. This initiative formed a vital part of UNRWA’s emergency food aid strategy to mitigate food insecurity caused by the ongoing humanitarian situation.
The project was financed and managed by UNRWA and executed by Folksafi with full operational, logistical, and compliance oversight. The scope of work included sourcing high-quality wheat flour, managing bulk storage and safe handling procedures, and ensuring smooth cross-border delivery via Karam Abu Salem crossing in coordination with UNRWA field offices.
